The main Solarium NFT collection, consisting of 1111 procedurally generated flowers, contains both simple percentage-based attributes & complex rarities based on normally distributed random numbers.
The simple rarity attributes are given in tables below:

The complex rarities consist of 2 attributes - names Petal & Distortion - which define the shape of the petals.
The values used in the procedural generation were output by an RNG (Random Number Generator) set to create a normal distribution.
The result is that values closest to the mean (or average) of the distribution are more common, and the extreme high and low values are more rare.
This is not an arbitrary allocation - that's how the math works.
For those who don't do math for fun, we have included value bands as attributes, and so you can look out for "High" and "Extreme" instead of values.
The graphs below are the actual distributions, with stats and bands in the tables for comparison. The flowers show the effect of the range of the art.
